West Indies all-rounder Odean Smith was in action in the CPL 2022 match that took place between Guyana Amazon Warriors and Barbados Royals on Wednesday, September 28. Smith was seen kicking the ball away in frustration and giving two free runs to the opposition, leaving his skipper Shimron Hetmyer shocked and unhappy.

Odean Smith, who is a part of the Guyana Amazon Warriors franchise in the CPL, is known for his antics both on and off the field. However, this time around, he stunned fans with his antics on the field.

The incident took place in the 16th over of the innings. Smith, who plays for Guyana Amazon Warriors, was bowling a batter from the Barbados Royals. The ball was a good one as the batter could only manage to defend it.

As the ball rolled towards Smith after being played by the batter, Odean Smith kicked the ball away in frustration as he was not happy with the last five balls he bowled in that over where he conceded 16 runs.

Skipper Shimron Hetmyer also seemed not to appreciate what his fellow teammate did on the ground. The management and the players of his team would have been upset as they would have not expected this kind of behaviour from their experienced player.
