Punjab Kings miss a Run-Out Chance

Punjab Kings and Gujarat Titans are facing each other in the 48th match of the ongoing season of Indian Premier League. Gujarat Titans captain Hardik Pandya won the toss and decided to bat first.

Table toppers Gujarat Titans could manage to score only 143 runs while batting first. On the last ball of the 20th over, a brain fade moment from Jitesh Sharma caught the attention of many cricket fans.

Sai Sudharsan tried to play a scoop shot on a length ball bowled by Arshdeep Singh which the batsman missed. Alzarri Joseph ran towards the striker end in order to take a quick single. But the batsman Sai Sudharsan didn’t move from his crease and both the batsmen were present at the same striker end.

Punjab’s wicketkeeper Jitesh Sharma had Great chance to run them out if he threw the ball towards non- striker end. But Jitesh got confused where to throw the ball despite both the batsmen present at almost the same end. Later he tried to throw the ball towards non striker end, but it was too late as Sai successfully completed the run. Arshdeep and Punjab Kings team management weren’t happy with this incident.
