Rahmanullah Gurbaz was the star for Afghanistan in the third and final ODI against Bangladesh in Sharjah on Monday, November 11. The right-handed batter scored his eighth century in just his 46th innings, marking his third century against Bangladesh.

Gurbaz reached his century in the 38th over of Afghanistan’s chase. Soumya Sarkar bowled a length delivery on the pads, and Gurbaz guided it to deep square leg for a single. He raised his bat, kissed the helmet badge, and hugged his batting partner Omarzai as his teammates applauded from the dressing room. He then performed a sajda.
