[WATCH] Rahul Dravid’s Sweet Gesture For A Fan Wins Hearts

Rahul Dravid

Rahul Dravid, a legend of the Indian cricket setup, has joined Rajasthan Royals (RR) as the Head Coach for 2025. Dravid and RR have had a close relationship over the years. When he was the Head Coach for the men’s international team, he couldn’t join any IPL (Indian Premier League) team as a coach. But since Gambhir has taken over the responsibility of coaching the Men in Blue, Dravid is back at RR.

Ahead of the season, RR shared a very sweet interaction between Rahul Dravid and his fan. In the video shared, the woman can be seen telling Rahul that she has been his fan since class 7th. Rahul was about to go up, climbing the stairs, when he heard and saw the fan. He gave her an autograph and shook her hands.

Rahul Dravid and Class Go Hand in Hand

Dravid has been seen as one of the most patient guys in the international cricket ecosystem. While there are one or two moments where we know he has lost his cool, but hey, that’s just being human. Rahul Dravid’s experience is going to help RR immensely in the tough season ahead.

While RR has performed well over the years, with Rahul Dravid back in the team, they are expected to perform even better. Dravid understands the Indian cricket team players very well, and thus, he understands how they plan their game and form their strategies to take on the opposition. The insights from Dravid will certainly help RR in getting the edge against strong players like Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, KL Rahul, and more.

Not to forget the last stint that Dravid had as a Head Coach ended with a T20 World Cup Trophy on the books for team India. Fans of RR will certainly be happy that their legend is back at where he belongs. Rahul Dravid played 52 games for Rajasthan Royals between 2011-2013, where he also captained the team for 40 games. After that, Rahul was also seen as the mentor of the team in 2014 and 2015.
