A batting practice in the nets helped Mayank Agarwal get ready for the upcoming domestic season.
The Sunrisers Hyderabad batter did not stop even though it started to rain where Agarwal was practicing.
Instead, he had to deal with pitches that became faster after being pitched as a result of the water on the surface.
Mayank Agarwal was chosen by the South Zone selection committee to serve as the vice-captain for the 2023–24 Duleep Trophy.
In the previous Ranji Trophy season, Agarwal excelled for Karnataka. By winning the Duleep Trophy, he will try to get one step closer to making the Indian Test squad.

In the previous 15 months, Mayank Agarwal has not participated in a Test match for India.
After the home series against Sri Lanka last year, Agarwal was removed from the Indian Test team’s starting lineup.
He was a member of the Bengaluru team that competed in the day/night Test match at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium.
In spite of the fact that it was a home game, Agarwal only scored 26 runs in two innings.
Agarwal has been replaced as the Indian opener in this format by Shubman Gill, who has produced some incredible innings in his brief Test career thus far.
During the recently concluded ICC World Test Championship final against Australia, Team India’s captain Rohit Sharma and Gill batted first.
In the upcoming WTC cycle, India will face the West Indies to open their campaign.
In order to help his country win their first WTC trophy in 2025, Agarwal will be eager to rejoin the Indian Test team.
