The Rajasthan Royals (RR) planned a unique meet-and-greet for “Jr. Jammy,” a devoted follower of Rahul Dravid, as a wonderful surprise. This action made the event unforgettable and captured the essence of cricket fandom.

For the 2025 IPL season, Dravid has come back to RR as their head coach. Most recently, he led the Indian side to win the T20 World Cup. A big moment has come for Dravid who joined RR in 2011 after spending some time with RCB.

He played for the Royals until 2013. Between 2013 and 2015, he worked as a mentor. The team’s respectful joke on Jr. Jammy shows how close the franchise is to its fans; thus, Dravid’s return is a remarkable event in RR’s history.

For the young fan, the meet-up was a joyful surprise, and Dravid’s presence added even more significance to the occasion. This kind act demonstrates the good effects cricket has on supporters and the close bonds that are created via the game.

Rahul Dravid meets his biggest admirer:

Rahul Dravid visited RR’s Mumbai office soon after it was announced in order to pull a practical joke on one of the staff members.

“Jr. Jammy,” also known as Neel Shah, is an ardent Rahul Dravid supporter. RR made the decision to surprise Dravid with an impromptu meeting because his Instagram and WhatsApp account are overflowing with images and videos of him.

Jr. Jimmy was tricked into thinking he would be speaking with Yashasvi Jaiswal in an interview. Jammy was taken aback, nevertheless, when he saw Dravid enter. The superfan was trembling, dumbfounded, and unable to speak.

Rahul Dravid, meanwhile, gave Neel a hug in appreciation for all of his help and expressed his eagerness to collaborate with him in the future.

In anticipation of the 2024 IPL season, Rahul Dravid made his return to the IPL by becoming the helm of the Rajasthan Royals.
