[WATCH]- Ravindra Jadeja Celebrates Like John Cena After Dismissing Tom Latham In IND vs NZ Match

Ravindra Jadeja mimicked wrestler John Cena’s signature celebration after dismissing Tom Latham LBW during the 2025 Champions Trophy match between India and New Zealand in Dubai on Sunday, March 2. Latham was out for 14 runs off 20 balls, leaving New Zealand struggling at 133/4 in pursuit of a 250-run target.

The wicket fell in the 33rd over when Jadeja bowled a fuller delivery, and Latham attempted a reverse sweep but missed. The ball struck his back pad in front of the stumps, and the on-field umpire promptly gave him out.

Latham opted for a DRS review, but the decision remained unchanged. Jadeja celebrated by imitating Cena’s gesture, covering his face with his left hand while running toward wicketkeeper KL Rahul to rejoice. You can watch the video here:

Ravindra Jadeja recently delivered impressive performances with the ball against England in a three-match ODI series, claiming three wickets in two games. However, he managed only one wicket against Pakistan and went wicketless against Bangladesh.

As the Champions Trophy semifinals approach, the spinner will be eager to add more wickets to his tally. At 36, Jadeja remains a valuable all-rounder, excelling with both bat and ball.
