The Afghan tweaker bowled a length delivery, and Jadeja tried to hit it over the fence but could only manage a top edge, into the hands of the square leg fielder. This was probably one of the most crucial match simulations for the overall preparations of the CSK team for the 2025 season.

He applied pressure by bowling tight lines and lengths during the general overs, making him play an important role in restricting other teams to paltry scores. He is also consistent for CSK in the IPL.
While the franchise retained him for a whopping ₹18 crore ahead of the mega auction held last year, he has been the richest cricketer of CSK along with their captain Ruturaj Gaikwad. His experience and skills would be no less indispensable to the team’s success.
