Watch – Ravindra Jadeja Pulls Off One Of The Best Catches Of All Time To Dismiss Neil Wagner

Ravindra Jadeja Involved In Argument With Cop

Ravindra Jadeja

Team India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja pulled off one of the best catches the world cricket has witnessed to dismiss Neil Wagner as Virat Kohli & Co finally had a good day in business in the Test series so far. The visitors took a crucial first-innings lead of seven runs at the Hagley Oval in Christchurch with Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami finally getting their rhythm back.

Meanwhile, New Zealand tail continued to frustrate India as Kyle Jamieson and Neil Wagner added 51 runs for the ninth wicket after India reduced the Kiwis to 177 for eight with Shami and Bumrah wrecking havoc at the Hagley Oval. India picked up 5 for 79 in the first session after New Zealand started on 63 for no loss.

But contributions from Colin de Grandhomme, Kyle Jamieson, and Neil Wagner ensured New Zealand close in on India’s total. New Zealand folded for 235 with Mohammed Shami picking up four and Jasprit Bumrah bagging three. Jamieson was the last man to fall – for 49 – as the hosts recovered well to fight their way back in the game.

During New Zealand innings, Ravindra Jadeja grabbed a breathtaking catch to put curtains on Neil Wagner’s 41-ball vigil. Wagner took on a 140ks short ball from outside off and pulls despite getting rushed on his swivel movements across the stumps. It skewed off the splice of the bat and Jadeja pulls off a miracle running back from square leg. He leapt up as high as he can, puts his left hand up and grabs it one-handed with great control.

You can’t see anything better than this as Ravindra Jadeja pulled one of the best catch of the season, perhaps the decade.
