Team India skipper Rohit Sharma sweated it out in the nets ahead of Asia Cup 2022. Ravindra Jadeja, Ravichandran Ashwin, Yuzvendra Chahal and Arshdeep Singh bowled to Rohit during the practice session. Rohit mainly focused on playing lofted shots against the spinners.

In their first match of the tournament, India will face Pakistan, on August 28 at the Dubai International Stadium. Ahead of the high-voltage clash, Rohit Sharma has stated that the Indian team is looking to keep things simple and are not taking any excess pressure about the match against Pakistan.

While speaking to Star Sports, Rohit said: “Everyone watches the game and it’s a high-pressure game without a doubt, but within the group we want to create a normal atmosphere. We don’t want to hype this game too much. It’s important to tell the players who haven’t played against Pakistan or played them just one or two times that it’s just another opposition.”
