Wicket-keeper batter Rishabh Pant was Team India’s savior with the bat in the fourth T20I against West Indies on Saturday, August 6 at the Central Broward Regional Park Stadium Turf Ground in Lauderhill, Florida. His 31-ball 44 run knock helped India to set a good total on the board. However, one of his actions on the field during the second innings, left the Indian skipper Rohit Sharma annoyed.

The incident took place in the fifth over of the West Indies run chase. Nicholas Pooran tapped a delivery by Axar Patel and set off for a run. His batting partner Kyle Mayers also responded to the call. However, Kyle returned to the non-striker’s crease, after understanding that it was a risky run.

Nicholas Pooran was left stranded mid-way on the pitch. He tried to get back to the strikers’ end but was eventually run out by Rishabh Pant. Sanju Samson collected the ball and passed it to the wicket-keeper, who waited for a while, before taking off the bails. This made Indian skipper Rohit Sharma lost his cool, he walked to Rishabh Pant and appeared furious.
