Mumbai Indians skipper Rohit Sharma wished his fans ‘Happy Holi’, through a video on his social media handles. The opener is in Mumbai along with the Mumbai Indians squad for the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League.
Taking to his Instagram handle, Rohit Sharma and his wife, Ritika Sajdeh wished the fans ‘Happy Holi’. The video uploaded featured BTS of Rohit prepping to shoot a Holi video to wish his fans. The opener took a lot of retakes during the shoot. He can be heard saying,
“Chalega Utna, Agar mereko accha nahi laga na toh you have to edit that and start from the festival of colors,” in the video.
Posting the BTS video on Instagram, Rohit wrote, “All I want to say is “Happy Holi”. While you all have fun, please keep our furry friends in mind and be sure not to put any rang on them! 💙”
Mumbai Indians welcome other franchises with Billboards across the city
The Mumbai Indians, in a beautiful gesture, put up billboards across Mumbai city to welcome their rival franchises for the Indian Premier League season.
The league stages of the tournament will take place in Maharastra, with Mumbai hosting the majority of the matches. The Indian Premier League 2022 season will kick off on March 26 at the Wankhede Stadium.
Mumbai Indians will begin their campaign on March 27 against the Delhi Capitals. The five-time IPL champions will be keen to add another title to their tally.
