India Legends match against New Zealand Legends abandoned due to rain

Sachin Tendulkar got India Legends off to a rollicking start before rain played a spoilsport. Tendulkar and Naman Ojha added 32 runs for the first wicket before Shane Bond got the first breakthrough, dismissing Ojha.

Suresh Raina was the next man in and struck a wonderful straight six to announce his arrival at the crease. When rain stopped play, the India Legends were at 49/1 with one delivery still left in the sixth over.

The match was eventually called off by the match officials as no further play was possible.
