India A spinner Shams Mulani outfoxed India D batter Devdutt Padikkal with an excellent delivery on Day 4 of the 2024 Duleep Trophy match, held on Sunday, September 15, at the Rural Development Trust Stadium in Anantapur.
The wicket fell on the final ball of the 32nd over when Mulani delivered a looping ball on off-stump, enticing the left-handed Padikkal to drive. He missed the inside edge, and the ball struck the leg stump, dislodging the bails. In contrast to his first innings performance of 92, Padikkal was dismissed for just one run after facing five balls.
