Shreyas Iyer produced a brilliant effort in the deep as Team India managed to pull back after Australia got off to a swashbuckling start in the 2nd ODI at the Sydney Cricket Ground. Australia current reel 156 for two on the back of two quick wickets by the visitors.
Meanwhile, David Warner and skipper Aaron Finch once again got their side off to a rollicking start after the host opted to bat first on a flat Sydney wicket. They added a 100+ stand for the second time in a row to put their side on top.
The Indian bowlers struggled to hit the right areas as Warner and Finch scored runs at ease. They pierced the gaps and knocked boundaries to get off to a phenomenal start before Mohammed Shami pulled one back. He got Aaron Finch out which made way for another in quick time thanks to Shreyas Iyer’s brilliant fieldwork.
