In response, Chris Gayle made an impressive effort with 84 runs off 55 balls, but the Gujarat Giants couldn’t quite reach the target, falling short by 12 runs.

With this outcome, the Capitals progressed to face the Manipal Tigers in Qualifier 2. The victor of this match will compete against the Urbanisers Hyderabad in the grand finale. Qualifier 2 is scheduled for Thursday, December 7, with the final taking place on Saturday, December 9.
