S Sreesanth has been in the headlines ever since he made a comeback in competitive cricket in the ongoing Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. After picking his first wicket and showdown with young batsman Yashasvi Jaiswal, Sreesanth has now grabbed the limelight bowling leg-spin in a game against Andhra.

Meanwhile, the veteran fast bowler came out of exile after seven long years after his ban imposed by BCCI came to an end last year. Ever since he has been working tirelessly for his comeback and made an immediate impact in the first game on his return picking a brilliant wicket with an out-swinger.

However, after that, S Sreesanth has been pretty ordinary going for plenty. Incidentally, he also had a showdown with Mumbai opener Yashasvi Jaiswal where the youngster reaped apart the veteran fast bowler after the latter tried to sledge him.

And now, bowling against Andhra in a group match at the Banda Kurla Complex in Mumbai, the right-arm pacer decided to switch to leg-spin. What’s more shocking is that Sreesanth even picked a wicket with the same. In the 15th over S Sreesanth was called to bowl. With the match already out of hand, the medium-fast pacer decided to try bowling wrist spin.

In the fifth ball of the over, Sreesanth, who tried to emulate the bowling action of former India captain Anil Kumble, bowled a short of length delivery to which the batsman at strike, Ashwin Hebbar went on the back foot and played a pull shot.

To Hebbar’s surprise, the ball didn’t travel over the boundary; instead, it went straight to down the throat of Vishnu Vinod at deep mid-wicket. Sreesanth seemingly looked in joy while the batsman walked back in utter disbelief.
