Suryakumar Yadav is currently enjoying a joyful phase after welcoming his baby daughter and chose to celebrate the happy occasion with paparazzi in Mumbai. Suryakumar and his wife, Devisha Shetty, became parents to a baby girl on May 7. The couple, married since July 2016, had also organised a baby shower earlier this year in March.
In a viral video from the Mumbai airport, Suryakumar was seen interacting warmly with reporters. Before heading inside the airport, the India T20I captain distributed boxes of sweets among the paparazzi to mark the special occasion.
“Yeh lo, aap log khaana yeh. (Have this. You guys please eat it.)” said Suryakumar to the reporters.

Will Suryakumar Yadav Feature Against RCB?
Suryakumar Yadav remained in Mumbai while the MI squad travelled to Raipur for their crucial clash against RCB, raising uncertainty over his availability for the match. However, the MI manager confirmed that Suryakumar would arrive in the city on the day of the game.
Meanwhile, Mumbai are also keeping a close eye on Hardik Pandya’s fitness after he missed the win against LSG because of back spasms.
“Hardik continues to be evaluated by the medical team, and they will update us on his progress,” a Mumbai Indians spokesperson said ahead of the RCB match. “Surya is coming in tomorrow.”
Suryakumar Yadav has struggled for consistency this season, managing 195 runs in 10 matches so far. However, the India T20I captain has shown signs of regaining form with the bat in the last few games as MI gear up for a must-win encounter.
Mumbai currently have six points and must win all their remaining matches to reach 14 points, though even that may not guarantee them a playoff spot.
