[WATCH]- Suryakumar Yadav Spends Time With The India U-19 Team At The NCA

Team India T20I captain Suryakumar Yadav visited the India U-19 team at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) before their series against Australia U-19. The Indian Cricket Team shared photos of the visit on social media.

He was initially scheduled to feature in the 2024 Duleep Trophy but had to be dropped due to wrist problem. He is now recovering and preparing himself for the T20I series against Bangladesh. Suryakumar went on talking with U-19 boys as well as spent some time with them. On Instagram, Indian Cricket Team shared images with this caption:

“The India Under -19 Boys had an unforgettable experience interacting with India T20 International Captain Surya Kumar Yadav on the sidelines of their camp at the National Cricket Academy as part of their preparations for the series against Australia Under – 19 boys.🙌🙌

Suryakumar Yadav’s most recent appearance was in the T20I series against Sri Lanka

Suryakumar Yadav had a spectacular year so far. He had a good season with the bat in hand for the Mumbai Indians, scoring 345 runs at an average of 34.20. Yadav also scored a century against Sunrisers Hyderabad.

After that, he appeared in action for Team India during 2024 ICC Mens T20 World Cup. He had a brilliant campaign batting in the middle-order scoring 199 runs over eight matches at an average of 28.42. The summit clash against South Africa saw him take the catch that dismissed David Miller thus giving Team India their second title in the competition’s history winning by seven runs.

Recently, Suryakumar Yadav played for Mumbai in the Buchi Babu Tournament. Next up, he will be seen playing in the T20I series against Bangladesh starting front October 6th.
