The bromance between Rahul and Hardik Pandya is very famous. Both of them are great friends who have always supported each other.

After electing to bat first, Gujarat got a poor start. They lost the wickets of Saha, Wade and Hardik very cheaply. Miller also couldn’t score much. However with an anchoring knock of 63* runs from Gill and an impactful cameo of 22 runs from Tewatia, Gujarat was able to reach a total of 144 runs.

The plan was to give as less runs as possible- Avesh Khan

Avesh Khan emerged as the best bowler for Lucknow Supergiants in this match. He gave away just 26 runs in 4 Overs and picked two crucial wickets of Wade and Hardik. Mohsin Khan also bowled an amazing spell. He gave just 18 runs in his spell of 4 Overs.

In the mid match interview , Avesh Khan talked about his bowling plans.” The plan was to give as less runs as possible, we didn’t want to give any room for the batters, bowl stump-to-stump. Yes, the pitch is on the slower and lower side, but we need one batter to bat right through. Rahul gives us excellent support in terms of plans and strategies, and we do as he says.” said Avesh Khan.
