Indian captain Rohit Sharma is currently on a break from international cricket. He isn’t part of the five-match T20I series between India and South Africa. Rohit Sharma will return back to international cricket in July. He will lead India on the England tour, comprising the rescheduled Test and white ball series.

Rohit Sharma spent holidays with his family. The pictures of them went viral on social media. Recently, the 33-year-old cricketer was seen playing gully cricket with a few school boys on the streets of Mumbai. A social media user shared a video of it on twitter.

This video has caught the attention of several cricket fans. It was great to see the Indian captain spending time with kids on the streets. Rohit Sharma can be seen enjoying a lot in this video. It was a much needed break for prolific run-scorer ahead of the busy schedule of Indian cricket.

Rohit Sharma had a poor 2022 season of the Indian Premier League (IPL). He managed to score just 268 runs in 14 innings. Rohit had an average of 19 and strike rate of 120 in IPL 2022. He failed to score any fifty plus score in IPL 2022. It was a pathetic IPL season for Mumbai Indians captain.

“It’s not something I am experiencing for first time” – Rohit Sharma on his poor form in IPL 2022

Rohit Sharma too was highly disappointed with his poor form in IPL 2022. Rohit feels that he couldn’t execute what he wanted to. Rohit said:

A little modification could correct the issue. A lot of things I wanted to accomplish didn’t work out. But this has occurred to me before, so it is not something I am experiencing for the first time.”

“I know cricket doesn’t end here; there’s a lot more to come.” So I need to focus on my mental health and consider how I can get back into shape and perform. It’s simply a tiny tweak, and I’ll try to work on it whenever I get some time off,” he added.
