[WATCH] Team India Get The Ethnic Style Welcome For 3rd T20I In Ahmedabad

Hardik Pandya and Co. were welcomed in ethnic style for the 3rd T20I to be played at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad on 1st February 2023.

The series is levelled at 1-1 with India winning a low-scoring thriller at Lucknow by six wickets on 29th January. Indian batting has struggled especially the top order comprising Shubman Gill, and Ishan Kishan. It was a pitch that helped the spinners a lot in both innings.

Indian bowling looked impressive and restricted New Zealand to a modest total of 99 for 8 in 20 overs.

The match went right down the wire but Surya Kumar Yadav hit a boundary to help Team India register a 6-wicket win with 1 ball to spare. Hardik Pandya looked in decent touch keeping the scoreboard ticking. For his composed knock, Surya Kumar Yadav was named the player of the match award.

It promises to be an exciting encounter as both teams would be looking to win the series. India’s record in bilateral T20I series deciders has been brilliant. The Indian team would be looking to show their domination over the Kiwis in the final T20I match. India has played 6 T20I matches in Ahmedabad with India winning 4 matches.

Team India will take on New Zealand in the final T20I

New Zealand won the first T20I match at Ranchi by 21 runs on January 27. The two pitches at Ranchi and Lucknow helped spinners a lot but did not help the batters enough.

The pitch at Ahmedabad promises to be a high-scoring match as both teams have quality hitters. Shubman Gill struggled in the first two T20I matches.

Shaw made the second-highest induvial score in Ranji Trophy. He smashed 379 runs against Assam in the ongoing Ranji Trophy. Ishan Kishan also failed to contribute big runs. Hardik Pandya and Co would be looking to win another T20I series. Under his captaincy, the Indian team won the T20I series against Sri Lanka by 2-1.

The Indian Team would be hoping for a top-quality performance by batters and bowlers in the final T20I to win the series.
