[WATCH]- Team India Joins A Playful Fielding Drill With A Cash Prize Before The BGT 2024-25 4th Test

Team India is fully engaged in preparations for the fourth Border Gavaskar Trophy (BGT) 2024-25 Test in Melbourne. On Monday, December 23, the team shared a video on their social media showing players participating in a fun fielding drill with fielding coach T Dilip.

In the drill, players aimed at stumps, with the larger stump worth one point, the smaller stump worth two points, and a ball in the center worth four points. In the video, Dilip can be heard saying:

“Today’s target, you can see three stumps. The bigger stump will have one point, the smaller stump will have two points, the ball in the centre will have four points. We are using angles today. You can see three markers. From each marker each one will go six balls.”

Group 2 – Mohammed Siraj (c), Rishabh Pant, Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, Akash Deep, Nitish Kumar Reddy.

Group 3 – Dhruv Jurel (c), Ravindra Jadeja, Jasprit Bumrah, Shubman Gill, Prasidh Krishna, Washington Sundar.

Team India prepares for the important fourth BGT 2024-25 Test in Melbourne

After winning the first Test in Perth, India suffered a heavy loss in the second Test in Adelaide, allowing the hosts to level the series. The third Test at The Gabba ended in a draw due to multiple rain interruptions. With the series tied at 1-1, the fourth Test in Melbourne is crucial before the final Test in Sydney.

Jasprit Bumrah has been India’s main bowler, but others need to perform more consistently. KL Rahul has been the only consistent performer with the bat. The team must resolve their batting issues before the fourth Test to improve their performance.
