Team India is gearing up for the World Test Championship final against Australia which will take place from June 7 to June 11 at The Oval in London. The team landed in England in batches and has kicked off their training ahead of the final. They were seen sweating it out in the nets to get familiar with the English pitches and conditions.
The International Cricket Council (ICC) shared a video on Instagram, from Team India’s training session. The players started with their warm-ups, playing football, followed by a fielding session with the head coach Rahul Dravid. The likes of Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and other batters then took turns in the net session to get in the groove for the match. Shardul Thakur and Umesh Yadav were speeding in to bowl to the batters, during the net session.

IPL 2023 finalists join Team India squad in England ahead of WTC final
The 2023 Indian Premier League finalists Ravindra Jadeja, Shubman Gill, Ajinkya Rahane, Mohammed Shami and KS Bharat joined Team India in England ahead of the World Test Championship final against England. They are likely to feature in the playing XI for the final. This will be India’s second consecutive appearance in the final of the World Test Championship. They lost to New Zealand in the inaugural cycle at The Ageas Bowl. The Rohit Sharma-led team will be keen to go past the final hurdle this time.
