The MCC Weekdays Bash XIX reached its conclusion last week with the final between Aerovisa Cricket and Rabdan Cricket Club. However, the match ended in controversy after a brawl erupted between Rabdan’s batter Kashif Muhammad and Aerovisa’s bowler Nasir Ali.
The incident occurred on the last ball of the 13th over when Nasir dismissed Kashif and proceeded to give him an aggressive send-off. Nasir was seen verbally attacking Kashif, who initially remained silent despite the bowler’s insults.
Tensions escalated when Kashif celebrated excessively, leading him to confront Nasir. This confrontation quickly turned violent. While the umpires and teammates rushed in to break up the altercation, Nasir grabbed a bat and attempted to strike Kashif on the back. Kashif also tried to retaliate by swinging at Nasir but was stopped by a teammate before doing so. The fight was captured on video and soon went viral on social media platform X.
