The Rajasthan Royals franchise pulled off a prank on their supporters, after releasing an official statement, firing their social media admin. Their skipper Sanju Samson on Friday seemed miffed at a social media post of the franchise.
Sanju expressed his displeasure at an image depicting him in a way that he did not like. The Rajasthan Royals then released a statement, sacking their social media admin. However, on Saturday, they clarified stating that it was a prank.
The franchise also hosted a fake audition, as a part of the prank. They uploaded the video on their Instagram profile, captioning it as, “This prank was incomplete without a fake audition. 😂 P.S. Tough luck, Yuzi 👀 #RoyalsFamily | #HallaBol”
Rajasthan Royals players, Yuzvendra Chahal, Shimron Hetmyer, Riyan Parag, Obed McCoy, and coach Dishant Yagnik can be seen in the video, auditioning for the admin’s post in Bollywood style.
