The Kiwi gentleman Trent Boult bestowed his jersey, to a young fan at the stadium. The left-arm pacer brought in this adorable gesture after the Royals’ game against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), yesterday (May 27).
RR posted the video of Boult’s act on their official social media handles. In the video, Boult can be seen taking off his jersey and giving it to the young kid, in the stands. While, the kid hilariously, offered his jersey back before Boult said that he didn’t need it.
Boult asked one of the Royals’ family members to pass the jersey, who then passed it to the young fan. After getting Boult’s jersey, the boy seemed extremely delighted and wore it right there.

Besides, Boult, individually, has had more than a decent run in the IPL 2022. The 32-year-old has played 15 games for RR this year and has picked up 15 wickets at a relatively reasonable economy of 8.24. With his raw pace this season, Boult has certainly led the RR pace unit.
Jos Buttler takes RR to the finals
Meanwhile, reviewing the RR vs RCB contest, for the Royals, Sanju Samson won the toss and elected to field first, at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad. Bengaluru, again botched to start well losing Virat Kohli, in the early overs of powerplay.
It was Rajat Patidar again, who aided RCB to put on a respectable total of 157 for eight. Patidar scored 58 runs off 42 deliveries, with four boundaries and three sixes. For RR, Prasidh Krishna and O-bed McCoy slew three wickets each. Boult too finished with a satisfactory spell of 4-28-1.
In reply, the Royals started well with a 61-run stand between openers Yashaswi Jaiswal and Joss ‘the boss’ Buttler. Although Jaiswal left the crease, Buttler carried on with skipper Samson, building another 50-run stand. In the meantime, Buttler did it again. The English wicket-keeper batter scored his fourth ton of the tournament, at a strike rate of 176.66. He scored a match-winning ton of 106 runs in 60 deliveries, with 10 boundaries and six sixes, and carried the bat. For RCB, Josh Hazlewood took two wickets, at an economy of 5.75.
