South African cricketer Tristan Stubbs took an outstanding catch on Sunday, July 31 to dismiss Moeen Ali during the third T20I against England at The Rose Bowl in Southampton. The visitors won the decider match by a huge margin of 90 runs to win the three-match T20I series 2-1. South Africa had lost the first game but made a brilliant comeback to win the remaining two and clinch the series.

The decider will be remembered for one of the most stunning catches taken in world cricket. Tristan Stubbs left the commentators, the crowd, and the fans amazed with his fielding effort. It all happened during the 10th over of the England innings. Aiden Markram, on the final delivery of the over, bowled a flatter one, to which Moeen Ali closed the face of his bat and got a leading edge.

The ball ballooned up in the air, and Stubbs pulled off a blinder. He dived full-length and stretched his left hand to complete the stunning catch. Moeen Ali had to walk back to the hut for three runs of five deliveries. England Cricket shared a video of the dismissal on their social media platform, which went viral. They wrote, “One of the best catches you’ll ever see”
