Former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh has hinted at making a return to playing cricket on public demand. The southpaw announced his retirement from international cricket in 2019. Since then he played the IPL season for Mumbai Indians in 2019 and skipped the next two years to play in foreign cricket leagues. He was last seen playing in the Road Safety T20 series this year.
Meanwhile, a video of a young kid batting left-handed and smashing big sixes is making the rounds on social media. The video is viral across Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. He seems to have the same bat swing and the swag of Yuvraj who too used to hit them big during his playing days.
The video shows the young kind hitting shots at every ball thrown at him. He is stepping out, hitting them over covers, square leg mid-off, mid-on and everywhere else.
Yuvraj Singh To Make A Comeback?
Meanwhile, while Yuvraj Singh, the former Indian cricketer has hinted his return, he has not spoken about which format is making a comeback in. He may play in the next Road Safety World Series.
Yuvraj is 39 currently and has been showing his support through his tweets for the Indian cricket team. The Virat Kohli-led side has lost their first two games and made a roaring comeback in the next two games to win by big margins against Afghanistan and Scotland.
India depend on the Afghanistan-New Zealand game which will be played in Abu Dhabi later tonight. An Afghanistan win will mean that India are still in the race for the playoffs. Meanwhile, a New Zealand win will eliminate Team India from the tournament.
