[WATCH]- “Virat Bhai Ko Bhi Bolna” – A Fan Urges Rohit Sharma To Message Kohli While Getting His Autograph

Indian captain Rohit Sharma had an engaging moment with a fan as the team readied for the second Test against New Zealand, starting on October 24 at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune. An enthusiastic female fan asked for his autograph and took the opportunity to request that he convey her admiration for Virat Kohli.

India trails 1-0 in the three-match Test series, having lost the first match at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru by eight wickets. After batting first and being dismissed for just 46 runs, the team struggled in the second innings despite a strong effort.

As Team India prepares for the second Test in Pune, their interactions with fans continue to gain attention. A video featuring Rohit and the female fan went viral on social media on October 22, showcasing their lively exchange.

Fan: Rohit bhai, please autograph dedo (Rohit brother, please give autograph).

Rohit scored two runs off 16 balls in the first innings in Bengaluru, while Kohli was out for a nine-ball duck. Both players performed better in the second innings, with Rohit making 52 off 73 balls and Kohli scoring 70 off 102 deliveries.

India will be relying on Rohit and Kohli to perform in Pune

Following the defeat in Bengaluru, India’s path to qualifying for the World Test Championship (WTC) final at Lord’s has become more challenging. They must win five of their remaining seven Tests in the current WTC cycle to secure a spot in the final.

As two of the team’s most senior batters, Rohit and Kohli are expected to meet the challenge. Prior to the first Test against New Zealand, both experienced players faced difficulties against Bangladesh, despite India winning the series 2-0.
