Former India captain Virat Kohli entertained fans by playfully mocking teammate Shreyas Iyer’s misfield during their 2025 Champions Trophy clash against New Zealand. The final group-stage match of the ICC tournament was held at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Sunday, March 2.
During New Zealand’s chase, Iyer misjudged a ball while fielding inside the 30-yard circle, allowing it to slip through his legs. Struggling to locate it, he spun around multiple times. Moments later, Kohli humorously imitated the 30-year-old’s actions, adding to the lighthearted moment on the field.
