[WATCH]- Virat Kohli And Liam Livingstone Clash During IND vs ENG 3rd ODI 2025

Indian batter Virat Kohli and England all-rounder Liam Livingstone shared a lighthearted moment during the third ODI in Ahmedabad on Wednesday, February 12. Kohli survived an LBW appeal against spinner Adil Rashid as the ball pitched outside the leg stump.

Livingstone playfully gestured, implying Kohli was lucky, to which Kohli responded by signaling him to move away. The two then exchanged friendly pushes. Notably, Kohli and Livingstone will be teammates in IPL 2025, as Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) secured Livingstone in the mega auction.

Virat Kohli Finds Form but Falls After Half-Century

Virat Kohli bounced back with crucial runs after a disappointing failure in the second ODI. The former Indian captain looked in fine form and played with great confidence as India batted first in the third ODI. Following Rohit Sharma’s early dismissal, Kohli built an important and steady partnership with Shubman Gill.

He played fluently, registering a much-needed and well-constructed half-century. Kohli scored 52 off 55 balls at a strike rate of 94.55, including seven fours and a six. Kohli’s innings ended on the final ball of the 19th over when Adil Rashid dismissed him, with Phil Salt taking a comfortable catch.

After putting in the effort to reach a well-earned fifty, Kohli will be deeply disappointed not to have converted it into a century after getting a good start. This marks the fifth time Rashid has successfully dismissed the former Indian captain in ODIs.

Despite falling short of a big score, Kohli’s knock is a confidence booster and a positive sign for India ahead of the 2025 Champions Trophy. India will rely on their senior star to deliver his best performance if they aim to clinch the title.
