[WATCH]- Virat Kohli, Anushka Sharma, And Vamika Enjoying Family Time Together

Virat Kohli, accompanied by his wife Anushka Sharma and daughter Vamika, enjoyed precious moments with their extended family.

Kohli’s on-field appearance was in the Boxing Day Test, ending on December 28 in Centurion, where India faced a significant defeat by an innings and 32 runs, putting a dent in their aspirations of winning a Test series in South Africa.

In the match, only Virat Kohli, KL Rahul, and Jasprit Bumrah displayed commendable performances, while the remaining players in the lineup fell short of expectations.

During the match, Kohli contributed scores of 38 (64) and 76 (82) in his two innings. KL Rahul achieved a century in the first innings, and Jasprit Bumrah made an impact with four wickets in the bowling department.

Off the field, a fan shared a video on X capturing Virat Kohli enjoying quality time with Anushka Sharma, Vamika, and others, providing a glimpse into their family moments.

“He is in a good mental space and his game is in good order” – Nasser Hussain views on Virat Kohli

In a recent video by the ICC, former England captain Nasser Hussain shared his predictions for players who will shine in 2024. His first pick was Virat Kohli, emphasizing the Indian stalwart’s impressive batting performances throughout 2023.

“My first one is a megastar and there is no doubt about it. Virat Kohli. Obviously, he had a fantastic 2023 and World Cup. Amid all the records he broke and the attention, we did not focus on how well he was batting.”

Highlighting his reasoning, Nasser Hussain pointed to Virat Kohli’s outstanding displays in the 2023 World Cup as a key factor in his selection. He added:

“Technically, I have never seen Virat bat as well like that. The sound of the bat, that innings against Sri Lanka in Mumbai, I can name about five innings where he was getting in a good position.”

“That is a good sign for Virat, India, and Virat fans. It means that he is in a good mental space and his game is in good order.”

Virat Kohli had a remarkable campaign in the 2023 World Cup, leading the run charts with 765 runs from 11 matches. His outstanding performance not only earned him the Player of the Tournament award but also saw him surpass Sachin Tendulkar’s ODI centuries record and set a new mark for the most runs in a single World Cup edition.
