Virat Kohli’s fine knock fails to steady India’s sinking ship in the first innings
Talking about Virat Kohli’s performance, the batter played a fine hand on a difficult surface. He was the leading run-scorer for India in the innings, with 22 runs off 52 deliveries. Opener Shubman Gill also scored 21 runs in the innings, while none of the other batters cross the twenty-run mark.
Team India was bowled out for a paltry 109 runs in the first innings after opting to bat first. Matthew Kuhnemann took a five-wicket haul in the innings, conceding just sixteen runs.
