Indian skipper Virat Kohli was dismissed for a duck in the second Test in Chennai on Saturday. The Indian skipper walked out to bat after the dismissal of Cheteshwar Pujara by Jack Leach. In the very next over, Kohli was breached through the defense by Moeen Ali who was included in the side for this game. Kohli’s wicket was the third wicket India lost in the first session after a good stand between Rohit Sharma and Cheteshwar Pujara.

Moeen Ali who has a particularly good record against Virat Kohli was brought into the attack just before Kohli walked out to bat. The ball which dismissed the Indian skipper turned sharply and went through the defences of the Indian skipper. Ali meanwhile has 41 wickets against India and 30 of them in England.

The ball pitched just outside the off-stump and turned back in sharply through the gap between bat and pad of Kohli. The Indian skipper stood stunned almost unbelievable after he was dismissed. He thought that the ball hit the wicket after hitting the keeper’s pad or gloves.

However, the replays showed that Virat Kohli was comprehensively beaten by the turn of Moeen Ali’s delivery. meanwhile, England’s were ecstatic to see the back of the Indian skipper early, and that too for a duck.
