Watch – Virat Kohli Imitates Harbhajan Singh’s Bowling Action Ahead of 2nd T20I

Team India secured a convincing win by seven wickets during the second T20I against Sri Lanka at the Holkar Cricket Stadium in Indore. Meanwhile, ahead of the game, skipper Virat Kohli was seen having fun while training by imitating veteran off-spinner Harbhajan Singh’s bowling action.

In the video which has now gone viral on social media, Kohli was seen doing a comical reproduction of Harbhajan Singh’s bowling action. It attracted a lot of cheer from the entire Holkar stadium as Virat Kohli once again showed his innocence and fun-loving nature. Notably, Kohli and Harbhajan have played a lot of cricket together and share a very cordial relation.

The India skipper imitated Harbhajan right in front of him, who was present at the stadium for his commentary assignment. Virat Kohli then straightway went and hugged the veteran spinner as the duo burst into massive laughter. Harbhajan, who had current India spinner Yuzvendra Chahal alongside him, visibly entertained, obliged by making a gesture to bowl himself. Former India cricketer Irfan Pathan, who announced his retirement a few days ago, also watched the proceedings from close quarters.

Meanwhile, speaking about the game, India banked on a clinical effort from the players to take an unassailable 1-0 lead with one match to go on January 10 (Friday). Batting first, Sri Lanka managed to post only 142 runs after Shardul Thakur, and Navdeep Saini staged an excellent comeback well supported by Kuldeep Yadav.

In pursuit, KL Rahul and Shikhar Dhawan added 71 runs for the first wicket to set the platform before Shreyas Iyer and Virat Kohli took the team over the rope. The India skipper finished the proceedings with a glorious six to seal the tie with 15 balls to spare.
