Veteran Indian batter Virat Kohli recreated Salman Khan’s famous dance from Tere Naam to humorously poke fun at opener Yashasvi Jaiswal’s hairstyle. The playful moment took place ahead of the first ODI against South Africa on Sunday, November 30, in Ranchi.
While Team India lined up behind the boundary ropes for the national anthem, Kohli, standing in front of Jaiswal, started mimicking the iconic dance moves, as Jaiswal’s hairstyle resembled Salman Khan’s look from the film. You can watch the video here:

Kohli credits mental strength for historic 1st ODI century
Virat Kohli earned the Player of the Match award for his outstanding century in the first ODI against South Africa. During the post-match presentation, he shared his thoughts on the innings, as reported by ESPNcricinfo:
“Today was really nice to get into the game like that. Pitch played decently for 20-25 overs before slowing down. I just wanted to play the ball and enjoy the game of cricket. It was about enjoying and when you get a start, then the experience kicks in and you’re able to build an innings.”
“I’ve never been a believer of a lot of prep. All my cricket has been mental. I work physically very hard, as long as my fitness levels are up and then you visualise batting and feeling well, it’s good. I wanted to get hold of conditions in Ranchi.”
“I visualise the game, stay sharp in practice, and focus on being mentally ready. With experience from 300+ ODIs, I know that if you’re in touch with the game, you can relax and enjoy playing,” he added.
