Team India‘s star batter, Virat Kohli, was spotted practicing batting after stumps on Day 1 of the second Test against New Zealand in Pune. The experienced player faced throwdowns to get ready for the next day. New Zealand won the toss and opted to bat first, making a solid start at 197/3.
However, India made a strong comeback, with Washington Sundar taking seven wickets and dismissing the Black Caps for 259. Captain Rohit Sharma was out for a nine-ball duck, leaving India at 16/1 at stumps. Although Kohli didn’t bat on the first day, he put in extra practice to prepare for his turn at the crease.

It’s important to note that Virat Kohli was out for a duck in the first innings of the Test series opener against New Zealand in Chennai. However, the former captain bounced back with a resilient 70-run performance under pressure in the second innings.
