Meanwhile, Virat Kohli began his IPL 2026 campaign in style, scoring an unbeaten 69 off 38 deliveries against Sunrisers Hyderabad. His knock played a crucial role as Royal Challengers Bengaluru comfortably chased down a target of 202 in just 15.4 overs.
While RCB have made a strong start to their season with a convincing victory, Chennai Super Kings are still searching for their first points. The five-time champions have endured consecutive losses against Rajasthan Royals and Punjab Kings.
