Virat Kohli, renowned for his impeccable fitness and athleticism in the realm of cricket, serves as a beacon for aspiring athletes. However, a comical video circulating on social media showcases a different side of Kohli’s dietary discipline.

In the video, believed to be part of an advertisement shoot for Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Kohli, alongside Faf du Plessis and Mohammed Siraj, is depicted placing an order overflowing with indulgent delights like sandwiches and pizzas.

Here’s the video:

Du Plessis and Siraj, taken aback by Kohli’s departure from his usual dietary norms, express disbelief, prompting Siraj to question Kohli’s commitment to fitness. Nevertheless, Kohli dismisses the concerns with a nonchalant remark, “Kya diet, Khaane de na mere ko” (What diet, just let me eat).

Despite his dietary deviation, Kohli’s prowess with the bat remains undiminished, as evidenced by his recent stellar performances. Accumulating 319 runs in just six innings at an astounding average of 79.75, Kohli has notched up two half-centuries and a century. Notably, his lone century of the season was achieved against the Rajasthan Royals in Jaipur, albeit amidst a losing effort.

Team RCB is struggling in the ongoing IPL

However, Kohli’s individual brilliance has often been overshadowed by the inconsistent performances of his teammates. In a recent clash against the Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede Stadium, RCB suffered a devastating defeat as the hosts chased down a formidable target of 197 runs in a mere 15.3 overs.

The onslaught from Mumbai’s batsmen, including Rohit Sharma, Ishan Kishan, Suryakumar Yadav, and Hardik Pandya, left RCB reeling, marking their fifth loss in six matches.

Despite facing setbacks, Kohli’s dedication to his craft and his unwavering commitment to pushing boundaries, both on and off the field, continue to inspire admiration and respect among cricket enthusiasts worldwide.
