Indian off-spinner Washington Sundar posted a video of a parrot enjoying the song ‘Kal Ho Naa Ho‘. Its a famous song from a movie of the same name starring Shah Rukh Khan, Saif Ali Khan and Preity Zinta.
Team India is on a break after the conclusion of the World Test Championship (WTC) final. The players have been spotted watching sporting events around the globe. Washington Sundar on the other hand is busy on social media. While posting the video of the parrot, Washington captioned the post:
“Vibing!
The cutest SRK fan there is!”

Washington Sundar unlikely to start in the Test series
India will be facing off against England in a 5-match Test series starting from August 4. Since the conditions are likely to favor the quick bowlers, India is very unlikely to start Washington Sundar over Ravindra Jadeja.
If both batsmen are compared, the better one is definitely Jadeja. Because he averages well over 50 in the longest format, Jadeja takes the cake for the time being. Considering Ravichandran Ashwin is a certainty, the only spot left in the team was the No.7 position.
Although Washington did face the English bowlers at home and managed to score 96*, swinging conditions are a different cup of tea. If he’s going to make the team, he needs to improve his bowling. He has been on the inconsistent side while bowling, and in the Test format, it can release all the pressure.
Team India is scheduled to play two tour games in Durham. Once they return from the break, they will play a four-day game in Chester-le-Street. This will be followed by a three-day game against County Select XI. While these games will help India decide their lower order combination and the pace bowling attack, the debate regarding the opening slot will also be solved in the coming days.
