West Indies A arrived for a historic 5-match T20I series against Nepal starting from 27th April onwards at Kiritpur. After they arrived in Nepal, West Indies players were seen loading luggage on a small truck on Thursday. The social media criticized the Nepal team for not making better facilities for touring West Indies A side.
It promises to be an exciting encounter as West Indies A has top-quality T20I experts who can change the course of the game on their own. Sikandar Raza who is a part of the PBKS set-up for IPL 2024 said that Nepal would be a great host for the West Indies side. It will be an ideal chance for both teams to showcase their skills and stake a claim for the T20 World Cup to be played in the West Indies and USA starting this June onwards.
“Can guarantee that Nepal will give them the best treatment possible within their means and rightly so and can also guarantee that none of the Caribbean boys will see this as a problem or a hassle,” Sikandar Raza, who is plying his trade for PBKS in IPL 2024, said in his post on social media.
Roston Chase will lead the side that has lots of experienced players for the West Indies senior. It is a huge moment for Nepal cricket as they would get to play against the best cricketers in the T20I format in front of a passionate Nepal crowd.

“I am confident this Nepal tour marks a crucial step forward in our preparatory phase for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup. It presents an invaluable opportunity to get our players who are not in the IPL back on the park playing competitive T20 cricket as well as provides the chance for us to expose a few emerging prospects,” Desmond Haynes, West Indies’ selection committee chief said earlier in the week.
