The actor from Bihar had prepared for several hours every day trying to replicate Dhoni on the silver screen. Former India wicket-keeper batsman Kiran More trained Sushant Singh Rajput for more than a year.

Even Sachin Tendulkar, who one day saw Sushant Singh Rajput practising in the nets told Kiran More that he looked like a professional cricketer. Once the movie was out, everyone concluded that the late actor looked completely like a carbon copy of MS Dhoni. He truly lived the character and his execution of Dhoni’s shots, body language. 

MS Dhoni: The Untold Story was a blockbuster as the film earned more than 200 crores worldwide. Sushant Singh Rajput successfully showed the journey of Dhoni from a middle-class boy growing up in Ranchi to becoming the World Cup-winning captain of India.
