Mumbai Indians’ all-rounder Will Jacks, currently featuring for Oval Invincibles in the 2025 edition of The Hundred, delivered a memorable performance against London Spirit at The Oval on Monday (August 25). In the contest, which Sam Curran’s team won by six wickets, the Englishman stood out with both the bat and in the field.
During the first innings, Jacks pulled off a breathtaking moment of brilliance by dismissing Ollie Pope with a spectacular flying catch. On the 34th ball of the match, bowled by Curran, Pope attempted a straight drive but couldn’t clear Jacks, who leapt to his right just outside the 30-yard circle and clung on with one hand.
The Hundred’s official X account quickly posted the clip of Jacks’ sensational effort, and the video went viral within moments. You can watch the video here:

The six-wicket victory on Monday helped the two-time champions strengthen their hold on the top spot in the points table, with the Surrey-based side now sitting on 24 points from eight games.
