England speedster Jofra Archer struck early to remove Indian opener Yashasvi Jaiswal, handing the hosts a perfect start as they defended a 193-run target in the fourth innings. The dismissal occurred on Day 4 (Sunday, July 13) of the third Test at Lord’s in London. Jaiswal was dismissed on the fourth ball of the second over in India’s second innings.
Archer delivered a short-pitched ball outside off at 141 kph, prompting Jaiswal to attempt a pull shot. However, he was cramped for space and ended up getting a thick top edge that ballooned into the air. Wicketkeeper Jamie Smith positioned himself well and safely completed the catch, giving England a crucial early wicket.
