Yashasvi Jaiswal, a young 20-year-old Indian opener, chatted with the fans. Jaiswal is a new and budding player in the cricket fraternity as an Indian batsman.
In the fourth Twenty20 international of the five-match series being conducted at Harare on Saturday, July 13, Indian team opener Yashasvi Jaiswal struck a forceful blow. There was no wicket shed in just 15.2 overs. This left-handed batsman supported the Men in Blue in attaining the target of 153 runs. Jaiswal spoke with the supporters at Harare Sports Club following the convincing victory. Fans posed some questions to Jaiswal in a video that the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) released. As he was not selected to play in any of the T20 World Cup 2024 games, one of them inquired about his feelings about playing following a significant break.
“I just enjoyed my process and being a part of World Cup champion team. I learned a lot and was excited and whenever I get a chance, I will try my best and make sure I’m contributing and winning the game for my team and really enjoyed playing today. It was an amazing experience with Shubman bhai. Whenever I play for India, I enjoy and feel proud,” Yashasvi Jaiswal replied.
Yashasvi Jaiswal said that they concentrated on winning the match without losing any wickets when he was questioned about his talk with Shubman Gill and how he missed his century by seven runs. Additionally, he underlined how crucial domestic cricket play is to success on the international front.
“We were thinking about how to finish the game and make sure that we win the match, and our mind was that we just have to finish with no loss,” Jaiswal further stated.
