[WATCH] Yuvraj Singh And Tino Best Involve In A Heated Exchange In IML T20 Final

The International Masters League (IML) 2025 final in Raipur witnessed an intense moment when Indian cricket star Yuvraj Singh and West Indies pacer Tino Best engaged in a heated exchange. The match, which saw Sachin Tendulkar-led India Masters claim victory over West Indies Masters by six wickets, became dramatic when the two cricketers clashed mid-game.

It all began when Best, after completing his over, attempted to leave the field due to an injury concern. Yuvraj, however, flagged the issue with the umpire, leading to Billy Bowden asking Best to return. This did not sit well with the West Indies bowler, who aggressively approached Yuvraj, sparking a tense confrontation.

Tensions Rise and Yuvraj’s Fiery Response

Best, known for his competitive nature, got close to Yuvraj, leading to a verbal spat between the two. The incident caught the attention of the commentators, with former England pacer Darren Gough noting that both players were highly competitive and unwilling to back down. Soon after the altercation, Yuvraj responded in his trademark style.

As he took strike, he launched a massive six and then pointed his bat toward Best, reminding fans of his famous six sixes against Stuart Broad in the 2007 T20 World Cup. The intense face-off between the two players added to the drama of the final, drawing comparisons to Yuvraj’s past on-field battles.

Reconciliation and India Masters’ Victory

Despite the initial tension, Yuvraj and Best managed to patch things up during the second strategic time-out. Yuvraj was seen playfully patting Best’s back, signaling that the spat was put to rest. Meanwhile, on the field, India Masters comfortably chased down the target of 149, thanks to a brilliant 74-run knock from Ambati Rayudu.

Sachin Tendulkar also delighted fans with a vintage performance, scoring 25 off 18 balls. West Indies Masters, who posted 148/7 with notable contributions from Lendl Simmons (57) and Dwayne Smith (45), struggled against India’s bowling attack, with Vinay Kumar and Shahbaz Nadeem leading the charge. Ultimately, India Masters triumphed, securing the IML 2025 title in style.
