The Road Safety World Series got underway with India Legends locking horns with the West Indies counterpart. The Indian fans at the Wankhede Stadium turned nostalgic watching their favourite stars rub shoulders in the cricket field once again for a noble cause. The India Legends were spectacular on the field with some cricketers bringing out their personal brilliance to impress the spectators.
With the likes of Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag, Yuvraj Singh, Zaheer Khan, Brian Lara, Caryl Hooper, Richardo Powell, Shivnarine Chanderpaul and many others playing against with each other, it was expected to be a spectacle and the game was nothing short of it. The encounter lived up to the expectation with some classical hitting, economical bowling, and eye-catching fielding efforts.

Meanwhile, Zaheer produced a stunning one-handed effort to dismiss Richardo Powell. The incident took place in the 17th over when Powell went for a stylish flick and timed it well. However, but the ball couldn’t find the elevation and it went towards deep square-leg. Zaheer Khan positioned in that position plucked it with one hand and balanced himself really well to get rid of the big-hitter. Bowler Munaf Patel was also taken by surprise and was seen lauding the efforts of the former left-handed fast bowler.
