The T20 specialists are back into the West Indies squad as the board has now named the 14-member squad for first two T20I”s against India. The two matches will be played at Lauderhill, Florida (USA) while the third game will be played at Guyana. The board has managed to send a very competitive side for the series and an intense battle is on the cards starting August 3rd.
The likes of Kieron Pollard, Andre Russell and Sunil Narine will add a boost to their existing side which already includes Evin Lewis and John Campbell as the openers. The board has managed to stick to Hetmyer, Carlos Braithwaite and Nicholas Pooran in the middle order who made their contributions count in the World Cup 2019.
Anthony Bramble has earned his maiden call-up but there isn”t clarity over who will keep wickets. It will be interesting to see if he makes into playing XI or Pooran will be taking care of duties. The bowling department led by Cottrell has Kharry Pierre and Oshane Thomas as deputies. Keemo Paul might also be utilized as a bowler as he proved to be handy in his IPL stint for Delhi Daredevils.

A couple of years ago when the side”s met for the T20I series at Florida, Windies side won the series 1-0 after a washout in the first game. The game was highly remembered for the destructive innings from KL Rahul and Evin Lewis. Can they replicate the same this time too???
