Ishan Kishan excelled with the bat on Day 1 (Thursday, September 12) of the Duleep Trophy match between India B and India C at the Rural Development Trust Stadium B in Anantapur. The left-handed batsman made 111 runs from 126 balls, featuring three sixes and 14 boundaries.

While batting, Kishan combined forces with Baba Indrajith to build a partnership of 189 runs for the third wicket. He was finally dismissed by Mukesh Kumar in the 66th over. The left-hander had previously made a century for Jharkhand during the recently held Buchi Babu Tournament.
